The pharmacy program at ULM is the only one in Louisiana that is state-funded. The University of Louisiana Monroe hosts the colleges of arts, education & sciences, business & social sciences, health sciences, and pharmacy. The College of Arts, Education, and Sciences prepares students for rewarding careers by providing the foundational knowledge and skills for taking on a career in the real world. Within this college, students can choose to pursue the school of humanities, sciences or visual and performing arts. Opportunities to create vibrant art pieces, to comprehend and master a new language, and to conquer and solve natural world problems are all built into the curriculum. The College of Business and Social Sciences combines productivity with responsibility so that students can become functioning businesspeople who are community and service-oriented and aware. As technology continues to develop, so too do health sciences. At ULM, the College of Health Sciences is divided into two schools which are the School of Allied Health and the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing. Both of these schools are accessible to undergraduates and graduates. The College of Pharmacy is definitely challenging no matter where you decide to study, but at ULM this program was created to provide the optimal experience in both academics and personal acceleration. The University of Louisiana was founded in 1931 and is located on 238 beautiful acres of Bayou DeSiard. The tree-lined campus is located just east of Monroe, Louisiana. The University was founded on the morals of evoking cultural, social and academic enlightenment. The University of Louisiana-Monroe received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Several of ULM’s departments have also received their own individual accreditation credentials.

The University of Louisiana-Monroe Application Requirements

First-year undergraduate students can be considered for admission at ULM by completing the Louisiana Board of Regents (BoR) Core Curriculum with at least 19 units, have at least a 2.35 overall high school GPA, and an SAT or ACT score of 500 with a 510 in Mathematics or an 18. Prospective students should create an online admissions account and submit a $20 application fee. Graduate students must create an online account and submit official transcripts, satisfactory GRE or GMAT test scores, and a $20 application fee. Tuition and Financial Aid

For undergraduate students who are residents of Louisiana and living off-campus with family, tuition is $18,868. For those who live on campus, tuition is $22,449 while off-campus tuition is $25,090. Non-resident undergraduates who live in the dorms, tuition is $34,549. Graduate students who reside in the state and live with family, tuition is $18,850. For graduate students who plan to live in a dormitory, tuition is $22,431. Off-campus tuition for graduate students is $25,072. Out-of-state graduates who live in the dorms, tuition is $34,531. PharmD students who are residents of Louisiana and live at home with family, tuition is $34,558. Students who choose to live on-campus will have a tuition of $38, 139 and off-campus tuition is $40,780. PharmD students who are from out-of-state, tuition will be $58,395. All of these prices include the cost of room & board, books, travel as well as other miscellaneous and personal fees. At ULM, 66% of first-year undergraduate students receive financial aid in the form of institutional scholarships with the average award amount granted being $6,310.
