Southeast Missouri State University Application Requirements

First-year undergraduate students should meet Southeast eligibility criteria prior to applying. The requirements include satisfactory SAT or ACT scores and GPA, class ranking, a $30 application fee, and high school transcripts. Prospective students who have earned dual credits should submit transcripts.

Graduate students should submit a $30 application fee, official transcripts, official test scores depending on the program of choice, proof of American citizenship, and other supplemental documents.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition for undergraduate students who are residents of the state of Missouri will be $247.25 per credit hour. Non-resident students will pay $438.50 per credit hour.

Graduate students who are residents of the state of Missouri will pay $315.50 per credit hour while non-residents will pay $555 per credit hour. Doctoral students who are Missouri residents will pay $420.20 and non-residents will pay $1,059.10.

Students who choose to reside on campus have several options for housing and meal plans. At most, students will pay $3,285 for a standard room each semester. For a private room, students will pay a maximum of $4,927.50 per semester. Meal plans can either be purchased in a classic or premium package. At most, students will pay $1,591 for a classic plan or $1,678 per semester for a premium plan. Undergraduate students can obtain financial aid in the form of a scholarship, grant or federal loan.
