Although the college application process can be extremely stressful for blind and low-vision students, they may have an advantage when it comes to affording the rising costs of post-secondary education thanks to scholarships for visually impaired students.

As modern technology continues to make the world an easier place to navigate for individuals with sight-related disabilities, the collegiate campus is also becoming more welcoming to the visually impaired with audio textbooks, touch-based navigation, and easy-access dormitories.

The following are 25 of the most generous scholarships that have been established to empower visually impaired students for reaching post-secondary education.
