study-abroad-scholarshipsSpending a semester or summer outside the United States can expand horizons and foster a more global perspective, but many are held back from the dauntingly expensive price tag without the assistance of study abroad scholarships. Since being immersed in an international study program provides students with the opportunity to develop social, cultural, and language skills that a classroom setting is incapable of, more organizations are luckily creating scholarships for students who want to study abroad and demonstrate financial need. The following are 25 excellent scholarships for studying abroad that can cover the hefty costs of a trip overseas for these invaluable learning opportunities.
