1. Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme
Deadline: March 31st
Each year, the Aga Khan Development Network grants a limited number of scholarships for outstanding students from developing countries around the world to engage in postgraduate studies to achieve a master’s degree or PhD in a subject of their choice. Currently, applicants will be accepted from students under 30 years of age from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Kyrgystan, Kenya, Egypt, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, Mozambique, France, and Portugal. Scholarships are awarded to students with exceptional academic standings and genuine financial need on a 50 percent grant and 50 percent loan basis, which must be reimbursed with an annual service charge of 5 percent.

2. ASHFoundation Graduate Scholarship for International Students

Sponsored by the Kala Singh Memorial Fund, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation provides tuition assistance scholarships for full-time international students who are studying communication sciences and disorders at an accredited graduate institution within the United States. 3. Awards for Advanced Study or Research in the USA

The American Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) provides more than $500,000 annually to assist Scandinavian students with undertaking graduate study or research programs in the United States for a variety of different fields of study. Applicants for the Awards for Advanced Study or Research in the USA must be natural citizens of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, or Sweden to be considered. Interested candidates for the scholarships must be recommended to ASF from one of the cooperating organizations, including the Denmark-America Foundation, the League of Finnish-American Societies, or the Sweden-America Foundation.

4. Ayn Rand “Atlas Shrugged” Essay Contest
Deadline: September 17th
For high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate students worldwide, the Ayn Rand Institute hosts an annual “Atlas Shrugged” Essay Contest in response to the fourth and final novel written by American writer Ayn Rand. 50 semifinalists will be awarded for $50, 25 finalists for $100, five third place prizes for $1,000, three second place prizes for $2,000, and one first place prize winner for $10,000. Along with the 800-1,600 word essay, entrants into the contest must include a cover sheet with their name, address, school information, topic selection, and current grade level.

5. Berkeley College International Student Scholarships
Deadline: May 1st
Upon admittance to Berkeley College, international students from all regions are eligible to receive tuition assistance based on merit and financial need to enroll into a full-time degree program. Within programs for accounting, business, fashion marketing, information technology, international management, management, or marketing, international recipients can receive partial tuition coverage from 10 to 25 percent of total costs. If students are successful at maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0, then they may be eligible for a scholarship renewal for up to four years.

6. Bogigian Scholarship for Armenian Students

Annually, Wilson College offers two scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $30,000 to two full-time female undergraduate students attending and residing on the college’s campus. 7. Broome and Allen Scholarship

Established by the American Sephardi Federation, the Broome and Allen Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students of Sephardic descent who are focusing their college education on Sephardic studies. High school seniors, college undergraduates, college graduate students, and those working on research projects are eligible to apply for the scholarship. 8. CollegeWeekLive Monthly Scholarship
Deadline: Last day of every month
The CollegeWeekLive Monthly Scholarship for $1,000 is available for both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens who will be enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution in the nation no later than the fall of 2017. Applicants for the scholarship are only eligible to win if they register online, login between the first and last day of the month, and visit at least three colleges to be entered into the drawing. Based on random selection, one winner will receive a check for $1,000 made payable to the accredited institution attended after proof of enrollment is submitted.

9. ETSU International Students Academic Merit Scholarship

For all new international students seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree at East Tennessee State University, the International Students Academic Merit Scholarship can be used to cover 50 percent of the total tuition rates for up to eight consecutive semesters. 10. EWC Graduate Degree Scholarships for Asia and the Pacific

Sponsored by the East-West Center, the Graduate Degree Fellowship Scholarships offer funding for a maximum of 24 months to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree of study at the EWC of the University of Hawaii. If students are not citizens of the United States, eligible applicants must be citizens within one of the countries in Asia or in the Pacific. 11. Foreign Fulbright Student Program

Each year, the Institute of International Education is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State to award 1,800 grants to non-U.S. students in the Foreign Fulbright Student Program to study in the United States for a master’s degree or PhD. Fulbright highly encourages applications from students interested in pursuing careers in all fields, but cannot fund applicants seeking a medical degree program. 12. Global Scholarship Alliance Scholarship Program

The Global Scholarship Alliance (GSA) Scholarship program, qualifying international nurses are provided academic tuition assistance to accredited universities across the United States to learn about clinical nursing practices through practical training and on-campus employment. International students may receive the fully funded scholarships to cover the costs of tuition, books, fees, and a new computer for success in a BSN, RN to MSN, BSN to MSN, or post-masters certificate program. Students can also participate in the Cultural Exchange Program by agreeing to return to their home country after graduation to work as a nurse leader for a minimum of two years.

14. Hood College International Merit Scholarship

Hood College recognizes superior undergraduate international students annually by providing the International Merit Scholarship as funding for all tuition related expenses up to $18,000. 15. Ishe Komborera Africa Award

The Schiller International University offers 20 one-quarter tuition awards to attend one of their international campuses to citizens from countries within the Sub-Saharan region of Africa. All undergraduate recipients of the award must satisfactorily maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and graduate students must maintain at least a 3.25 GPA each academic year. 16. Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarships

Sponsored by the Joint Japan and World Bank, the Graduate Scholarship is offered to international students from World Bank member countries. Eligible applicants for the scholarship must be under 30 years of age, have a bachelor’s degree, and possess at least two years of professional full-time experience after a university degree. 17. Libermann Scholarship

For undergraduate international students, Duquesne University provides limited financial assistance ranging from $1,000 to $15,000 for up to four years in the form of the Libermann Scholarship. There is no application necessary for this scholarship, since all international students are automatically considered when they submit their application for admission into the university. 18. LMSA Scholarship for U.S. Medical Students

The Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) Scholarship for U.S. Medical Students was developed to financially assist international students with the costs of attending an accredited medical school in the United States. Applicants are eligible to receive the funding regardless of immigration status, but all must demonstrate a strong desire to serve the Latino and other underserved communities. Along with the typed completed application, applicants are required to submit proof of acceptance and a one-paged personal statement reflecting contributions to the Latino community to receive one of the four $500 scholarships.

19. Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund

As an affiliate of the World Bank Family Network (WBFN), the Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund awards educational grants to exceptional women from developing countries who are dedicated to finishing a degree at any United States university. The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is designed to educate academically qualified young adults from Africa to contribute to the improvement of the continent. Each year, the Momeni Foundation offers at least ten Financial Assistance Scholarships for amounts ranging from $250 to $1,000 to graduating high school students and current college students of Iranian descent.
