With an intensive practice schedule and frequent traveling to participate in games, student athletes can have a hard time figuring out how to afford college tuition. Since working part-time while attending classes and playing a sport is nearly impossible, many student athletes depend on landing a starting position on a team to receive a generous scholarship award.

Despite the fact that not everyone is lucky enough to achieve scholarships for starting positions on a college athletic team, there is no need to give up on the prospect of winning scholarship money.
