The South Dakota Pilots Association (SDPA) offers the Becker-Hansen Memorial Scholarship for $1,500 to honor two lives lost in a MU-2 airplane crash that also killed State Governor George Mickelson. Each quarter, the Judith Resnik Memorial Scholarship is bestowed by American Flyers, a national flight school with locations from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles.
